Sad Night Dynamite

Sad Night Dynamite is the duo of vocalist producers Archie Blagden and Josh Greacen, who have developed an infectious form of pop that mixes R&B style vocal melodies with electronic dance effects, hip-hop beats, and a combination of crooning and rapping. There is a woozy and slinky layer to their music that also evokes a vaguely psychedelic feel. They deliver well-constructed melodies wrapped inside unhurried grooves. Despite all the sophisticated production work they put into it, their music comes across as straightforward and direct. They manage to strike a balance between the new and the familiar in their sound.
