sideproject is an Icelandic trio of producers and experimental artists who create an eclectic form of music that combines elements of grime, bass, and club music in creative ways that resist categorization. Their music is potentially chaotic, shifting directions, never quite settling into a specific groove, keeping it discordant, glitchy, and unruly. It is a patchwork of melodic segments connected through mutating rhythms and fluid textures where elements of dance music are continually combined and re-combined into a flow that does not always conform to the basic definition of dance music.
