Rebelmatic

Rebelmatic is a New York City based hardcore band that plays hard-hitting rock that bursts with seemingly inexhaustible punk energy. Their music is driven hard by the powerful riffs of guitarist Alkatraz that split the difference between hard rock and metal, and a rhythm section that is fully locked into the groove, pushing the songs with all their might. Karnage is a beast on the bass, which is worth pointing out in passing. On the other hand, vocalist Creature delivers a good punch. He also did some rapping in their earlier recordings. The band especially stands out in moments where they start straying into a funkier territory or play with indie rock elements, which gives them the chance to change it up just a little and add more breadth to their music.
