The Ooohh Baby Gimme Mores, or as they are commonly known, The OBGMs are a Toronto-based punk band that brings in elements of indie rock with respect to their riffs and song dynamics. As a result, their music often drifts towards an edgier version of grunge (more Bleach than Nevermind), while singer Densil McFarlane's passionate, raw vocals keep them grounded in the punk tradition. They are a highly energetic band that plays with a lot of power, firing on all cylinders coming out of the gate and sticking with that sound throughout. There is a good amount of guitar shredding that goes on, and intricate beats mixed with solid bass work. Their songs have the requisite loudness and aggressiveness that goes with the genre, but they also bring good melodic lines that soften their rough exterior.
