oreglo

oreglo is a quartet of London-based musicians whose work is grounded in jazz in the sense that jazz is the home they both start out at and return to as they freely swing between genres. They are just as likely to explore rock, grime, or dub especially, in any given piece, as they are to turn around and slide into the fusion sound or take a turn towards the sweeter and gentler terrains of pop jazz with equal ease. It is an impressive range that shows not only the diversity of influences that shaped them as musicians, but also their versatility and commitment to follow music wherever it takes them, guided by a healthy disregard for genre boundaries.
