Neighbor Lady

Neighbor Lady is an Atlanta based indie rock band with occasional country and folk hooks led by singer-songwriter and guitar player Emily Baden. The band has a light touch with respect to melodies and their overall delivery, with songs that usually range around the mid-tempo level, and come with a nice flow and calm riffs. Baden handles the vocals in a relaxed manner and an occasional tremulous quality in her voice that may bring to mind artists like Kristine Leschper. Their debut album, 2018's Maybe Later brought out some country noir vibes in their music thanks to guitarist Jack Blauvelt's guitar tones.
