Maisie Peters

Maisie Peters is a singer-songwriter who plays up-tempo songs with a natural flow that feels almost weightless on the one hand, lived-in, plain-spoken, and heartfelt on the other. Her tunes are generally quite catchy and stand on their own strength without needing any anthemic highs. She often goes ahead and pushes the big chorus button anyway, but that feels more like a stylistic choice rather than an intrinsic necessity. Some of her songs are ballads, but the rest mostly tend to be peppy and dance friendly. She is part of a generation who grew up inspired by Taylor Swift and her influences are not that hard to detect in between the lines in Peters' music. She matured further as a songwriter on her 2023 album, The Good Witch.
