Lane 8

Lane 8 is the stage name used by electronic and house artist Daniel Goldstein who makes house music with a progressive bend. His pieces are typically mid to high tempo, but a good number of them slow things down, leaning on to its melodic base, and in some cases, there is a guest vocalist who leads the song. The overall sound is soft, warm, and sticks to a contemplative mood. The music he produces is not monolithic. It ranges from house style ballads to more or less ambient/new age crossovers, though always with a strong emphasis on the dance beat anchored by that comfortable four-on-the-floor pulse.
