Lambert

Lambert is a pianist/keyboardist and composer based in Berlin who has been one of the prominent artists in the city's vibrant neoclassical scene.  He always wears an ornate Sardinian bull mask in his appearances for anonymity. His earlier work was rooted in Chopin-like impressionistic piano pieces, but the scope of his work has extended beyond that since then. He often works with an acoustic piano, either solo or accompanied by light percussion or other instruments that add a subtle layer and a quiet depth to his music. On the other hand, he also uses elements of electronic music, and does not hesitate to inject some of his jazz background into his pieces. He is a prolific composer who has been putting up an album every year, give and take. He took a left turn towards a classic jazz trio in his 2023 album All This Time, speculated by some as perhaps an act of outing himself as a jazz musician underneath the mask.
