Holy Fuck

Holy Fuck is a Toronto based electronic band that has been creating dance-friendly music and exploring different corners of EDM in their work. The band is composed of two keyboard players, a drummer and a bass player. The presence of an actual living rhythm section gives the band a warmer, more organic sound.  It also allows them to use improvisation as a tool in the way they construct their music. Their pieces are not quite loops, but they do not abide by the classic A-B song structure either. Instead, they go through a   continuous flow whose texture changes over time without any midstream breaks. They do not have a vocalist in their line-up, so they typically bring outside singers for any vocal parts they may have, which was not a usual thing for them until 2020's Deleter.
