girl in red (stylized in lower-case) is singer-songwriter and indie pop artist Marie Ulven who started out with bedroom pop songs she released on Soundcloud, became a phenom with her charming songs (especially with i wanna be your girlfriend), then moved on to a full production situation backed by a full band.
