Anna B. Savage

Anna B. Savage is a singer-songwriter originally from London who performs often slow and deliberately paced songs with pared down arrangements that open up the space for her remarkable voice.  She sings in a booming alto and with an imposing style that captures the emotional fluctuations in her songs. Her music is intense, tightly wound, and powerful. It has strong melancholic tones. She is an introspective artist whose songs focus on her personal stories that bear some weight on the listener. Her hooks are sharp and fairly sturdy. She started to take steps towards a more band-like set up in her second album, in|FLUX (2023) without making any significant changes to the core of her music.
