The Garrys

The Garrys are the trio of sisters who play lo-fi surf rock mixed with the relatively softer version of garage rock and old school rock'n roll, all carrying the '60s vibes. They also bring in vintage girl band harmonies and a twangy dark western sound most commonly associated with Ennio Morricone's work. There is a psychedelic edge to their music, which despite being loose and relaxed in general, also bears a dark undertone that sometimes lurks just below the surface. When they turn that up, the results can be a bit eerie, which was the case with their original score for the movie H​ä​xan released in 2020. All three members are solid performers: the drums are tight, the bass is groovy, swaying with swagger, while the guitar brings plenty of sway to their music, a requisite for the style they have committed to.
