Fine Glindvad Jensen, who professionally goes by her first name, Fine (rhymes with "Josefina") is a Danish artist with a misty voice and a dreamy delivery who creates sedate pop with a slight folk twist. Her music has a hypnotic quality, though it feels more organic with less of the sparkle and shimmer that goes with most dream pop. In terms of moodiness and flow, her sound reaches back to the legacy of earlier acts like Cocteau Twins and Mazzy Star as far as her tone is concerned, except she is a bit more subdued in some ways. There is an inescapable sense of melancholy in her work that extends to some of her other collaborations as well, including her Brooklyn based duo with Dean Blunt, The Crying Nudes.
