Fat Trout Trailer Park, aka FTTP, is the guitar/drums duo Sean Raab and Laurence Rushworth who play garage inspired indie rock that presents elements of the early '00s garage sound captured by bands like The Strokes during that period. There is a strong "back to basics" feel to their music, where fuzzy guitars paired with robust drum lines blast loud and rough. They are never scrappy, though. There is some studio polish to their work, and it is also fairly obvious that the duo pays attention to song construction. They put together solid hooks and write bold melodies. They also bring in some bouncy bass action and upbeat guitar jangle on top of that, which makes their music even more engaging.
