DOMi & JD BECK are the virtuoso performers keyboardist Domi Louna (originally Domi Degalle) and drummer JD Beck, a remarkable jazz duo that came out in the late '10s pretty much as child prodigies individually, before quickly partnering up and by the time the dust had settled a little, they found themselves regularly in the company of an elite class of musicians including Anderson.Paak, Thundercat, and Erykah Badu. They play a kind of fusion that looks back at the '80s classics in tone and spirit, driven by their stunning musicianship between DOMi's nimble and melodic keyboard action and Beck's breakbeat laden turbocharged jungle grooves. Aside from their high-end jazz, the duo are also in complete sync with one another, share a clarity in vision, a goofy sense of humor, and in all likelihood, a long and fascinating career ahead of them.
