Crumb

Brooklyn based Crumb plays a combination of psychedelic and dream pop as they create soft focus songs with a pleasantly warm and relaxed flow. There are also threads of trip hop and jazzy tones woven into their sound, though those seem relatively less pronounced. They are led by guitarist and vocalist Lila Ramani, who has a mesmerizing presence and a breathy, quiet voice that adds more mist to the gentle instrumentation that comes from the band as a whole. Their songs suffer no shortage of engaging hooks and tend to be fairly melodic without being too obvious about it. They typically target the mid-tempo range in a moody but dance-adjacent style that establishes a spacious feel with noticeable shimmer and reverb in their production.
