Making Time 2026
Outline
Making Time is a unique festival that focuses on, but is not limited to, electronic dance music and promises transcendental experiences. This is not a corporate festival with a litany of rules on its website. This is a 21+ festival for adults who want to lose themselves in the music and visuals.
Founded by Philadelphia DJ Dave P (David Pianka), its genesis was in 2000 as a moving dance party he regularly hosted, initially as an alternative to the club scene, featuring different music from the trance and house music that was typical in clubs. It went on for a decade before a full on festival was considered, but difficulty securing a venue and then COVID prevented it from going forward until 2021 when it finally debuted at historic Fort Mifflin near Philadelphia's airport.
