Electric Forest 2026
Outline
Centered in Sherwood Forest near Rothbury, MI, the Electric Forest festival is a 4-day music festival held in early Summer. It originated as the Rothbury Music Festival in 2008. After a hiatus in 2010, it returned as Electric Forest in 2011 and has continued since, apart from COVID cancellations in 2020 and 2021. It focuses on Electronic music and Jam Bands, but is not limited to those genres. Whatever the genre, psychedelia is at the forefront as regards both the music and the visuals. Between 40,000 and 50,000 attend in recent years and the majority of attendees camp on-site.

Sherwood Forest
Festival is all ages. Children 2 and under are free. All other children are required to have a wristband and there is no child discount. No open flames except for portable propane grills.
