Edmonton Folk Music Festival 2026
Outline
The Edmonton Folk Music Festival (EFMF) is a 4-day, annual, late Summer music festival that takes place in Gallagher Park in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It has quite a long history having begun in 1980 and, as its name suggests, the focus is on folk music. However, acts include other genres such as bluegrass, blues, roots rock, world music and even some soul. It is very popular, selling out annually and, in addition to music, is known for its large beer garden. It is run by a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteers and, as a result, ticket prices are kept in check.
All ages, 80 and over/11 and under free, reduced prices for youths and seniors. Tarps and chairs (no higher than 26 inches) allowed.
