WARGASM

WARGASM (all caps and not to be confused with the Boston band in the '80s), is a London based duo, Milkie Way and Sam Matlock on bass and guitar, respectively. They are a nu metal band that delivers a good old-fashioned head-banging, loud, and aggressive style of metal that also borrows from industrial and hip-hop. The two members share the vocal duties, often by trading lines. Their music is energetic and volatile. It is driven by harsh and powerful guitar riffs, shouting vocals mixed with segments of rap, and a pounding rhythm section that does not let up. That said, they have moments of '90s alt-rock sweetness sprinkled here and there, which creates a good contrast that ends up enhancing the noisy bits.
