Nova Twins

Nova Twins are the fiery guitar/bass duo Amy Love and Georgia South, who approach the rock genre from roughly the same angle that bands like Rage Against the Machine did a generation or so ago. They play explosive music with a metal edge and a powerful propulsion that is coupled with a rap style (or at times, rap-adjacent) attack in their vocal delivery. They combine that further with an electronic component that may be reminiscent of another band from the same period, The Prodigy. Their work takes all these familiar elements and carries them forward with more contemporary sensibilities. The duo brings plenty of heft and a strong punch to their songs, which often play as anthems for an angry youth, though with a temper that registers perhaps not as high on the rage index.
