Viola Odette Harlow

Viole Odette Harlow is a singer, pop artist, and a songwriter who was once a child actor who has since found her way into music.  As Glüme, she adopted the classic Marilyn Monroe appearance as a persona before shedding that and releasing her work under her own name. She makes a kind of pop music that casts a wide net across styles centered around pop, indie pop, and electronic pop. Her songs are often, though not always, built on subtle melodies that she navigates in small gestures and with a soft voice. A thematic through line of her songs, at least currently, is her coming to terms with a particular heart condition she experienced as an adult, leading to a specific kind of body awareness that surfaces in her lyrics regularly.
