Victoria Canal

Victoria Canal is a singer-songwriter who creates mostly quiet and intimate ballads that convey a sense of emotional vulnerability. Her music is quite rich in melodic construction and the way she keeps her arrangements stripped down helps underscore the strength of her compositions. Even though her songs have a pop flow in many respects, she delivers them with small and subtle vocal gestures, in her breathy and delicate voice, and often accompanied by a piano or an acoustic guitar instead of going big in sound.
