New York based Sorry Mom (not the Ohio based one) is an all out punk band that plays in a highly melodic, pop-ready style with a range of options to shift gears and adjust their level of sweetness. Guitarist singer Juno Moreno's songwriting talent is a key component in their ability to walk the line between pop and punk with ease. Their music sometimes stretches into emo or hops over the fence into a more conventional rock 'n roll territory. That said, the band has clearly adopted punk esthetics and combines it with their riot grrrl vibes. There is quite a bit of body the trio adds to the songs, especially with the bass and the drums providing a solid foundation and guitarist Juno Moreno's playful and expressive vocals.
