Said the Sky

Said the Sky is producer and multi-instrumentalist Trevor Christensen, whose work combines aspects of electronic dance and pop with an emphasis on melodic songwriting. He is similar to artists like ILLENIUM and Dabin in this regard, who also happen to be some of his frequent collaborators. His music is warm and carries an emotional core that he brings to the front at least as prominently as his dance grooves. The type of dramatic pop structure that uses quiet and intimate intros and big anthemic choruses are built into his music, so it is not uncommon for him to drop the beat well into a song. He pulls from a variety of sources from a stylistic point of view, which includes emo in some cases, though his songs are generally anchored in romantic ballads.
