NURKO

NURKO is Jack Leech (last name: Nurković) is a producer whose dance-oriented electronic sound uses a template pretty similar to ILLENIUM's (the two have worked together in the past). He places particularly strong emphasis on the melody, typically leaning in the R&B direction stylistically, with his guest vocalists solidifying that tendency in their delivery. That said, his songs generally also have a strong pop feel, loaded with his ever-present hooks and big anthemic highs interspersed between all the lush sonic swells and sharp synth attacks. It is a dramatic sound with large gestures intended not only to move bodies but also to resonate emotionally on a broad scale.
