Paris Paloma

Paris Paloma is one of those artists who are wedded to pop at a fundamental level, but appear to be always looking for ways to escape its gravitational pull to create something more personal. Her songs are melodically strong. They are not necessarily sweet or cute but they have ways to hook the audience in and stay with them for a while. Her recent work often goes for big, anthemic explosions but she is also no stranger to a small and intimate sound that floats with a dreamy quality, especially see 2024's Cacophony. That same sense of lyricism can be heard weaving through her more pop driven work making its presence felt under the surface.
