Paint is the moniker used by the Allah-Las guitarist and singer Pedrum Siadatian when he is engaged in his solo work, where he continues to spread his laid back lo-fi psychedelic goodness. Stylistically, he stays in the same Allah-Las playpen for the most part, referencing an abundance of the trippy mid '60s sound that has pretty much shaped up to be Siadatian's signature move. There is some Syd Barrett channeling that takes place in his albums, also some early Kinks, especially underscored by the quality of his singing voice. That, and his knack for writing songs that feel like they are intended for lazy Sunday afternoons in the summer, spent on a lawnchair in the backyard, relaxed without being lethargic.
