Mint Green

Mint Green combines indie rock and emo with a strong pop sense in an away that gives their songs a nice and consistent balance between the strands. The band is led by singer/guitarist Ronnica, who has quite a presence both on the vocals and the guitar as she deftly moves between indie and emo parts, giving the song's transitions a fluid feel. Their songs are melodic without being sugary and weighty without being dramatic about it. Even though 2022's All Girls Go to Heaven is their debut album, their previous EPs going back to 2016 suggest a band whose identity and overall style was set right out of the gate and was putting together one snappy song after another right from the start.
