Marvin's Revenge

Marvin's Revenge is a hard-hitting trio from Nottingham whose music offers the type of grunge sound that also enjoys crossing over into noise. They are fully committed to an aggressive brand of rock, for sure, complete with screeching guitars, sneering vocals, and a flamming snare, all of which pretty much come with the territory of '90s alt-rock. It may not be at the forefront, but there also seems to be a bit of angularity right below the surface and some goth-like bits that creep in and out of their work, often just enough to give their songs a skewed angle. They are an energetic bunch who typically keeps it loud, with overtly darker tones, and a palpable sense of passion.
