Kingfishr

Kingfishr is a trio who draw their main inspiration from traditional Irish folk and pairs it with a big rock sound that provides plenty of volume and resonance that demands to be blasted out loud and wide in open spaces, or at your local arena, as the case may be. Their music is dramatic down to its core. It is uptempo and bold in ways that demand attention. Vocalist Eddie Keogh has a mournful texture to his voice and delivery that meshes well with the emotional shades that are packed into their songs. The band takes good advantage of their strengths when they build up like a great wave reaching its crest, which leaves the audience eager to ride the next wave.
