KennyHoopla

KennyHoopla (stylized with no space) is the moniker for Kenneth La'ron, a Wisconsin-based artist who is a musical wanderer. He started out mixing lo-fi experimental electronic music with rap, releasing songs inspired by R&B and indie folk, sometimes bringing in new-wave and post-punk motifs. He then emerged as a dynamite of a performer locked into pop punk (with some Midwest emo influences), often channeling the spirit of bands like Green Day and Blink-182. The latter especially significant since some of his work in this period has been a pedal-to-the-metal collaboration with Travis Barker. His music is energetic and fully committed to an updated revival of one of the signature sounds of the late '90s/early '00s. His 2025 EP conditions of an orphan// sees him veering towards a dance oriented mixture of pop punk and indie pop.
