Kamikaze Palm Tree

Kamikaze Palm Tree is an experimental rock duo formed by drummer Dylan Hadley and guitarist Cole Berliner. Though originally from San Francisco, they are based in Los Angeles and have been working with various musicians in the area, including art rock figures like guitarist Tim Presley (of White Fence). They do not have a fixed style: some of their work has the iconoclastic, off kilter sounds of early Captain Beefheart, while others tends to be atonal chaos pieces or the kind of minimalistic songs that The Residents put out in their heyday. The quality of Hadley's voice and her delivery has some Cate Le Bon shadings. Their music is not intended for casual listening, but would be a good match for fans who like their music to stay off the beaten path.
