Kabeaushé

Kabeaushé (aka Shé, though originally Kabochi Gitau) is a pop artist with fairly strong, nay, forceful stylistic choices that make for a loud, raucous, very percussive, and very assertive music that merges hip-hop beats into dance grooves. Their songs are melodically sturdy with an agitated, bold sound that does not let up easily. There is an abrupt nature to their flow with shifts in direction and a maximal commitment to whatever bit they are engaged in at any moment. They have a knack for calibrating the chaos created around the production into a living, breathing feature in its own right, which may at times borders on hyperpop. Their work is lively for sure, leaning into foot-stomping madness at times, riding an undeniable creative wave.
