Hannah Jadagu

Originally from Mesquite, Texas, currently based in NYC, Hannah Jadagu is a singer-songwriter that started out as a bedroom pop artist who first came to attention with her sophisticated arrangements and hazy introspective songs recorded on a phone and using Garage Band. Her music mixes indie pop with light shoegaze and a layer of dreaminess as she alternates between subdued folk songs and grungy alt-rock along the way. She sings in a soft and misty voice that keeps her vocals somewhat low-key. The magical touch she brings to the table has to do with the combination of her songwriting talent and sharp ear for instrumentation that gives her work a level of maturity this early in her career.
