Clover County

Clover County is a singer-songwriter (aka A.G. Schiano) who strikes a folk chord in a very Americana kind of way. There are more than incidental flavoring of country, from instrumentation to the melodic relish, and a nice pop finish on top. The core of her sound, however, is pretty grounded in folk. There is plenty of personal storytelling in her songs and a fair amount of introspection and perceptiveness to go with it, all delivered in a breathy voice and an intimate manner that instantly connects with the audience. Her songs have a smooth and gentle flow with a lot of sweetness, something that Schiano seems to have in spades.
