Burna Boy

Burna Boy (aka Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu) is a major Afrofusion artist and singer from Nigeria, who sings in Yoruba or Yoruba/English creole. He has built a broad international appeal over the years to the point where his collaborators on his albums typically consist of some of the top level pop artists, including Ed Sheeran, J Balvin, Ladysmith Black Mombazo, in addition to some local artists of course. His music is typically locked into the dance mode with rhythms referencing Cuban clave patterns, reggae beats, reggaeton, and western dance music. In other words the full range of what one would need if one intended to make the ultimate party time music. His albums are heavily produced with highly polished arrangements, generous use of the autotune and sound effects.
