bdrmm, stylized in lower case and pronounced as "bedroom", is a band whose music is hybrid between soft shoegaze and hard dream pop. The band has a relatively soft presentation when it comes to shoegaze: the wall of distortion is not as tall, it is fairly textural, and lays the foundational soundscape, as opposed to something that is massive or aggressive. The guitars are fuzzy but are not harsh and do not dominate the sound profile. In fact, they mostly chime along melodically with plenty of reverb that brings to mind Robert Smith's (The Cure) influential guitar work, along with an overall Ride-like effect. Their dream pop, on the other hand, is also moderately dreamy. The haze is light, which allows for clarity in their presentation, helping them play up their melodic strengths.
