Bay Ledges

Bay Ledges is the bedroom-flavored indie pop project of singer-songwriter Zach Hurd, whose music has a squishy and gentle sound with a slightly woozy flow. He makes use of electronic effects and synth based presentation in his songs, which are almost always mid-tempo affairs built on cool grooves that bring out a low-key club feel at times. It is relaxing music that operates at a life-size, personal scale; nothing grand, no fireworks. It is filled with warm and personable vibes all around, wrapping the listener in cozy textures and tender vocals. His songs are melodically rich but not too saturated. In fact, almost everything in his music is nicely restrained and well-grounded.
