Arthur King

Arthur King is a group that makes experimental music with a broad, cinematic feel that often has a fairly ambient feel with intricate electronic layers, but depending on the project, could also acquire a percussive nature that approaches club-like beats at times. They are led by composer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Walker, who is accompanied by a fluid group of musicians that regularly includes another multi-instrumentalist, David Ralicke. Their music feels well-grounded despite the fact that it is improvisational. Changing Landscapes is their multimedia series that focuses on specific locales and the particular sensations they evoke in the musicians, while the Unknown Movie Night series is where the band live scores a movie without any prior knowledge what movie they will be scoring for.
