Alien Tango

Alien Tango is Spanish singer-songwriter Alberto García, a half prankster, half free-spirited musical omnivore who has been releasing a series of unpredictable and deliciously wild and fun recordings since 2017. His music usually sits in the pop/dance/disco territory, but nothing is a given with Garcia: he barges across genre boundaries regularly, inserts acoustic folk bits, turns to vaudeville music, old school indie, and so on. What separates him from most other pranksters active in popular music is his ability to pack fully fleshed out musical ideas into his songs and access a diverse array of styles with ease and flair ...  and perhaps more importantly, not letting the humor get in the way of the music. Note that his album Blink Pop Vol. 1 is a series of 15 second snippets of what sounds like a good collection of songs that we don't get to hear end to end.
