Part singer/songwriter, part comedian, Marc Rebillet is a performance artist, originally from Dallas, Texas, whose comedic and improvisational style, combined with his free-flowing delivery makes him a one of a kind act. His songs are usually short. A lot of them stay below the 2-minute mark and are structured around either his vocal skits and monologues or grooves that he plays on his keyboards with electronic percussion and bass. These grooves have the classic American pop feel, nodding at R&B, hip-hop, funk, with a touch of dance and disco elements. The music is not structured as comic pieces in and of themselves, and they would stand on their own as the basis of traditional songs in a different context. The comedy comes from the lyrics and the dialogues in the foreground. Rebillet's main mode of distribution is through YouTube and Twitch. His live shows are essentially long improvisational bits with songs thrown in.
