Hollywood Palladium is one of the classic Art Deco style large venues in the city of Los Angeles, situated on the Sunset Boulevard in the Hollywood district. It was built in 1940 as a ballroom, which helps explain the hardwood floor in the middle of the large oval structure. There is a second floor that oversees the stage with tables, which is the VIP areas. Regular folks enjoy the show at the ground level on the said hardwood surface. It has plenty of bars on all sides of the building, enough for the large crowds it usually attracts. By its very nature Hollywood Palladium brings in relatively well-established acts that draw a bit audience, perhaps a couple of steps before an act reaches the stadium level.
There are plenty of them in the main area, at the periphery of the auditorium.
There are multiple paid parking lots surrounding the Palladium. On-site lot surrounding the Palladium-Coast Parking $10-$20 Sunset Media Center at 6255 Sunset Blvd. LA CA 90028 (Parking entrance off Argyle - between Selma and Sunset) $10-$20.
