Waterloo Records & Video

Waterloo is a large size record store in Austin that has been a part of the town since 1982. They carry records and CDs, in equal weight more or less, and most certainly, a lot of both. The leftmost wall in the store (as you enter) displays a series of CDs that have been just released and/or have been charting well. They also carry a large number of DVDs, Blu-rays, etc., along with turntables, accessories, other music related equipment. Their in-store performances have been attracting some major names, so there's also that. It is one of the main stores to stop by if visiting the city.
