The Rhino Records has been part of Claremont, California since the '70s (see Other Notes). It is a large store and it is certainly a major focal point for record buyers in the area. The space is divided between records and CDs, as well as cassettes. They have a fairly broad collection of music that cuts across many genres. They are generally more focused on new releases but there is also a good number of used records.
Rock and adjacent genres.
This Rhino Records has only a tangential connection to Rhino Records the label and the Westwood store that operated between '74 and '06. It was originally owned by the same person, and changed hands in '76, but kept is original name.
