Gimme Gimme Records

Gimme Gimme Records moved to Los Angeles from NYC back in 1994. It is currently located in the Highland Park area on a major street that parallels the 110 freeway on the way from LA to Pasadena. It primarily carries records and has a broad range of genres. They have a sizeable and often interesting collection of soul and jazz, along with hip-hop, rock and similar genres. It is a good-looking store with good-looking record racks. This is one of those places one enters for treasure hunting, without anything specific in mind, and leaves with a bunch of records under their arms.
