Cheap Thrills is a fairly large record store in San Luis Obispo that is specialized in mostly the '60s, '70s, and '80s albums. It has two floors. CDs are at the bottom floor, and records are upstairs. They are mostly used albums with very little new releases in the store. Their inventory, on the other hand, is quite deep and broad. The second floor has records bursting out of every shelf every bin, end to end. The store also has a good range of used turntables, receivers, amplifiers, speakers, and so on, as well as microphones and other music related accessories. The store serves a very specific market: collectors who are interested in finding albums from the decades mentioned above.
'60s, '70s, and some '80s, mostly used albums.
Cheap Thrills shares space with comics/games store Captain Nemo, both of which handled by the same management.
