Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, aka Pigsx7, are a metal band whose music turns dark atmospherics that evoke a sense of doom and menace in the listener's mind. They are driven by the two-headed guitar attack by Sam Grant and Adam Ian Sykes who rely more on the heavy riffs they turn out as opposed to scorching guitar solos. They are unapologetically loud and brash with vocalist Matt Baty staying on top of it all, pouring his soul out with each scream. There was a more prominent psychedelic angle to their music in their early albums, which was of course expressed through aggressive guitars. As they gradually moved away from that sound, their pieces also went from 15, 16 minute epics (see their debut, Feed the Rats in 2017) to a more common average of 5 mins in length without losing any of their intensity.
