Terror/Cactus

Terror/Cactus is the project of Buenos Aires born, Miami raised, and Seattle based producer, multi-instrumentalist Martín Selasco. His music incorporates elements of dance oriented and often light-hearted electronic music into traditional South American styles, cumbia in particular, as well as also Peruvian chicha and some Argentine folk. The arrangements are typically instrumental, led by Selasco's guitar, which also adds a lively psychedelic layer on the songs that fits right in with the overall flavor of his work. The combination of all these parts ends up creating a celebratory sound that feels relaxed and radiates a sense of warmth and tropical joy.
